Ken Akamatsu: Genius? Or MAD MAN?
Doesn't matter!
Apparently the World Wildlife Foundation has created a new file format called WWF. It is basically an un-printable PDF. Great timing to release that hmm?
COINCIDENCE?

I know what you're thinking. PDF scanned manga certainly is a new thing. Piracy, right? We told you earlier how Love Hina creator Ken Akamatsu plans to fight the good fight by distributing PDF versions of his work for free on a website. Now we have more details on his plans to release older, harder-to-find manga on his site, J-Comi.
Asahi News reports that some of the rare stuff is coming. Kotsu Jiko Kanteinin Tamaki Rinichiro, a manga about a traffic accident inspector by Takashi Kisaki and Kengo Kaji, is coming soon. They say that the site will also feature works carried in ShueishaShukan Shonen Jump manga magazine as well as original works by girls' manga artist Mayu Shinjo. Free!
How do the artists get paid? The artists will get all the ad money from the ads on the site, minus commissions. Not a bad deal.
Akamatsu: "Manga that have ceased to be published are a precious resource for Japan. We hope to draw in readers, including those of pirated manga."
