You guys are gonna help me win an argument. Not more than an hour or two ago, good buddy Hitogoroshi sent us this side by side comparison of a Yoko cosplayer and her pillowy counterpart. Like any time similarly themed things are near each other (ice cream, books, twins) we began an immediate dialog over which one of these two we preferred. Much to my astonishment, favoritism was show to the pillow. Now I'm not going to single out anyone other than Brad, but I was really surprised by this.

I dunno if its because most people prefer the perfectly impossible proportions of a two dimensional figure, but I, like Mike, would take the 3d equivalent and pay her for rambunctiously cuddling buy her a very, very nice dinner... before rambunctiously cuddling her brains out.

Totally agree with John, I also prefer the 3d version more. But they are both nice to look at.

Face could do better, IMO. Also, perhaps a little bustier? The shot doesn't do a good job of conveying those features.

Hmm... This is hard. I think 2d Yoko is my pick, though the 3d Yoko is still good. I guess it's because I'm so used to 2d Yoko.

I don't see anything wrong with 3D gal. Her cosplay is top notch. I love her wig choice too.
If I were a dude, I'd pick 3D.

3D. She looks like she'd be able to give me tons of tips on how to improve a costume.

That way I could apply that knowledge on my girlfriend's costumes...hehe (too bad she rarely cosplays)

Funnily enough I'm with John in this one - nothing beats the original Yoko. Hard to say why.

There was this Rei cosplayer model that I thought beat the original (IMO) though:

3D in this case is actually quite good looking imo, so I'd take 3D over 2D. But again, I too must echo gia's comment. 3D ontop of 2D

DH: I really like that yoko cosplayer, but she seems too abnormally skinny. The picture really should have been of her firing her gi-normous rifle, since I can't take her seriously. P.S. your Rei now haunts my dreams.

I prefer the Pillow version simply because the 3d doesn't look like Yoko outside of the costume.

Personally I like Shoko-tans Yoko cosplay the most but that's just me.

John - this is just a pic amongst quite a few others Nakagawa did, it is from a book. She does the best Cosplay of Yoko in my opinion. But you really think she's that skinny? 0_o"

About the beautiful Rei cosplayer, I dream about her 24/7 lol! My jaw dropped when I say the pic the first time... Just wow!

DH: Yeah, I know its the impossibility of these voluptuous, yet incredibly strong/fast figures. I never think twice on page, but I seemingly question if I could see this Nakagawa firing a rifle the size of her body from a moving mech-thing.

I kind of just expect the wind to pick up and blow her way. But in answer to your question, no, I don't feel she is that skinny, she just doesn't match with the combat enabled image the series gives me.

At least with a character like guts, he looks like he could wield a freakishly large sword.

There was a few insanely hot Yokos at the NYAF, which was the only thing that made that con worth it since it was terribly mismanaged....

But anyway, as to THIS 3D Yoko vs. the 2D one.... I'd have to say 2D.... unless 3D was right here. Then I'd tell her anything she wanted to hear. :D

If the real one was the hot Puerto Rican Yoko I had a boner for at NY Anime Festival then I would pick the 3D one. Unfortantly, I don't like the real one in the pic cuz she's a butterface. So 2D it is!

I haven't and dear lord ^that women is HOT!

Oh, and the real girl is always better than the fake! That goes for living women to non-living women and females in general. I mean who would you choose a sincere attractive girl, or a fake hot chic? The choice is simple for me.
