Rejoice, eight regions to show Madoka's first two movies

4:00 PM on 09.15.2012

Kyubey is sure on a roll today with his ultimate goal in getting people to form those contracts with him. If you happen to live in the United States, France, Italy, San Marino, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore, then you are in one of the eight lucky areas that are going to show the two movie compilations of Madoka Magica. Since Kyubey's contracts are serious business, the two movies are going to be shown in 18 cities within these areas from October to December.

Following up on Kyubey's contract, Eleven Arts has revealed the location of the Madoka movie screenings for the US, which will allow viewers to watch both films back to back. In other words, you are going to get the ultimate Madoka experience in one sit through. At the moment, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Houston are the only areas in the US that are showing the movies for now.

Considering that these showings are going to occur until the end of December, there might be a chance that a city near you might be elligible for Kyubey's contract in the future. While I have no interest in watching the first two films, I might support the screening of both movies if they get shown in South Florida.

To those who live in the five cities mentioned in the post, you can check out the locations and screening dates right after the jump. You can also keep an eye on Madoka Magica's US Website for updates on future showings. Until more information comes out in regards to the rest of the screening locations, you can take a look at the trailer for the second Madoka movie that features more sequences from the original TV series.
