Rejoice, Filipino toku fans: Henshin Con opens in 2013
If you are a tokusatsu fan that lives in the Philippines, then you are in luck. A dedicated group of brave heroes are getting together to form the first tokusatsu convention in the Philippines that will unite all fans that enjoy watching live-action costumed heroes beat the living daylight out of evil villains. Henshin Con plans to have band performances, henshin and roll call contest, cosplay contest, toku trivia contest, karaoke contest, create your own hero contest, toy exhibits, panels, and new abilities that will be unlocked during the transformation that will take place in 2013. It's not everyday that you hear information related to a convention dedicated to tokusatsu, so I wish the people of Henshin Con the best of luck in protecting the innocent people of the Philippines.
