It is the dawn of a new week, another chance to spend money on our beloved anime and manga. Someday in the future this won’t matter; when we move anime and manga out of Japan and into a new country; a country where 100% of our existence goes into creating anime and manga. We will live in a giant convention hall, with giant shower rooms, and overpriced hotdogs and pocky. Until then we are stuck here, with our Dragon Ball Big Edition, and Tsubasa Chronicles.

I know a lot of you will be picking up Lucky Star volume six this week, along with Pluto volume two, and maybe the new Vampire Hunter D novel as well; be careful not to spend all your money, we need it for Project “Utopia”. Take a look at all the releases after the jump.

At least I got Pluto a week and a half early for some reason. That's some consolation.

I've already picked up what I wanted, which was Lucky Star Vol. 6 and Pluto Vol.2.

I also grabbed the complete Astro Boy (1980s) to go along with reading Pluto. I figured it was about time I watched it, and to check out the "Greatest Robot on Earth" storyline that Urasawa chose to write.

lwelyk@: I forgot too, but, I will just order it this Friday. Spent all my money on Clannad and the last 4 volumes of Hell Girl last week.

Booby Life... That's an awesome name, I think.

It's too bad that the Lucky Star Special Limited Editions weren't doing too good, which caused them to cancel the SLE for vol. 6 (which was suppose to have a Misoji Misaki CD, Motteke Sailor Fuku Re-mix 001 CD, & a cheerleader uniform t-shirt.

Man, I wonder what Booby Life is about! That doesn't sound perverted AT ALL!!!

Yeah I saw that cover art when I went in the store to buy Pluto. Sitting there on the shelf with the new releases...

I kinda just stopped a second and recalled that episode, 'twas sad. :( Such a nice image though, easily the best cover art of all the DVDs.

I used some store credit on Lucky Star over the weekend. Hopefully it ships in good time. Other than that, just Fruits Basket on the manga side. Of course, that's a 'later' buy since the lay-off from work. Man, I am going to have a huge backlog of things to buy if I ever find a job! :P

And I could be mistaken, but wasnt that lady Death Blu-ray release canceled? Or at least postponed? Pr was this the week it was postponed too?

I'm not sure I'll pick up Lucky Star 6....I kinda want to wait for a limited edition....but I'm pretty sure one will never come.....
