This is one of those catch-up weeks where it is a good opportunity to buy some older anime series that you might have passed up in the past; such as Beck, Gankutsuou, and the Third. I always hear great things about Gankutsuou, but never got around to watching it. It is based off of the classic French novel The Count of Monte Cristo, so how can it be bad?

Another volume of that great manga Fairy Tail will also be released this week. If you haven’t picked that one up, then do it now! You never know when the world might end. Also the Eureka Seven - Blue Monday novel will make its appearance as well. I have no idea how good this novel is, but it's Eureka Seven, so it can’t be that bad.
