Releases for the week of 09/08/08 photo

Well it’s that time of the week again for me to coax you to spend more money. Though this week will be a little more difficult for me seeing as there aren’t that many good releases heading our way over the next couple of days; well, unless you like Sonic X. Not too many anime releases, and none of them really that great; though we do get XXXHOLiC volume five for those of you who are fans of that show.

Lots of manga, so there are probably new volumes of something you are following this week. New released titles such as Burst Angel, Gankutsuou, and Astro Boy volume one and two join the party this week as well. Check them all out after the jump!

Stuff i'll be picking up:

xxxHolic Vol 5
Beck 13
Boys of Summer
Negima 19, once i get 18
I thought I heard that Tokyopop lost the rights to BECK... I'm so behind in that series I won't be picking it up.
Sweet, BECK is still coming out? After the commotion, I had heard that TP said that many of the tiles were 'just delayed', but I dont think anyone was believing them.

In any case, I'll grab:

Beck 13 and Negima 19.

And on the anime side, the Shuffle vol 6 + Box
Astro Boy? Hells yeah!
@godlen

Wow, does the Otogi Zoshi collection 1, Shana boxset and Shuffle vol 6 LE Box mean nothing to you?

Oh wait I forgot this shit ain't popular with Cartoon Network kiddies....
there has to be a giant robot in them byrc for me notice!
With the Heian Era being my favorite stop for period based cosplay, I would have picked a different anime picture for the week.

For God Len to except the entertainment value of any product, something needs to explode, because it got a rocket to the FACE, before the first episode ends.
*nod nod*
BEEEEEEEEEEECK!
I'll be getting Yakitate!! Japan, might start reading Negima. I enjoyed the 2nd anime series a lot. Hope the manga is like that one.
the shuffle box set comes with God panties. I dig that.
I wish I bought the Yakitate Japan manga. I loved the series so. Maybe when I get a real job, whenever I graduate.

When I watched Blood C in Summer of 2011, I thought it was a show that had a lot of promise. It started out with the distinct feeling that something wasn't right in an idillic town that was being pressed upon by nightmarish b...
