Let me be honest with you: there's no way you're going to avoid buying something from this week's list. Seriously.

First off, in the world of anime, we have not only Ponyo hitting stores, but Disney is also re-releasing My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky. Colette and I will be handling reviews for all four of these films this week, so be prepared for them. Beyond that, there's also some Blu-ray releases in the way of Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers and Kurokami.

On the manga front? You need to start reading Dance in the Vampire Bund. It's better than the anime by large stretches, for a number of reasons I'll get into in our review of the manga. There's also a paperback version of Osamu Tezuka's MW, which should be on your shelf if you want to ever show your face in public again.

And finally, for all the ero-freaks, new stories from Night Shift Nurses, La Blue Girl and Immoral Sisters are out. So get ready to buy.
