This week's releases is rather scarce in the DVD department but the long awaited complete version of Final Fantasy VIII: Advent Children Blu-Ray/DVD hits stateside for those of you who didn't get the Japanese version with the moonspeak-ridden Final Fantasy XIII PS3 demo. I'm just glad I didn't buy the dang thing back in 2006 and it turns out that this version actually comes with a coherent narrative according to our recent Advent Children Complete review.

On the manga side of things, we get more interesting first volumes such as Rasetsu no Hana which is a sequel/spinoff to Yurara both by Chika Shiomi. Samurai Harem: Asu no yuichi manga also comes out this week which will probably satisfy those of you out there who like samurai and harems.

Hmm... Maybe Asu no Yoichi. I iwll be getting FF7ACC though. I liked the original even though I was lost most of the way through, so this should make it better.

Got my Advent Children in the mail yesterday. I hope to watch it tonight, if I stave off the urge to turn on inFamous.

Asu no Yoichi manga? Forgot about this one too. I'll definitely add this title to my next manga filled with a ton of other stuff. From this list? Bleach, Honey & Clover, Ouran, & R+V.

I just gotta make it through my recent 22-book order, the first half of which arrived yesterday... (I was laid off for a couple months!)
