Another week, another set of new releases. This week's we get really great first volumes of stuff you've prbably hear of before. First up is the first volume of Detroit Metal City, which is one of the most vulgarly-hilarious titles we've reviewed on Japanator. Another title features more emo mecha pilot drama, but replace the "mecha" part with some school action and you get the first volume of Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project.

Last up is a manga with some pretty art and a mouthful of a title, Takeru: Opera Susanoh Sword of the Devil, which I'm thinking of picking up since it looks like it's good.
