The town of Inakadate in Aomori prefecture is host to some creative farmers. That, or there are some mischievous aliens trying to pull a fast one. Either way, the results are rather amazing. Every year a certain rice paddy is transformed into a massive work of art using differently colored plants. As they grow the pictures begin to take shape.
