I'm surprised to hear that Abyss got licensed. The game was great, but I didn't think the anime was popular enough to pick up. Although it makes sense at the same time, cause iirc, it's the most accurate out of all the Tales of... anime.

Along with king3vbo, I'm pretty surprised to see Turn-A get licensed. It's actually one of my favorite among the Gundam series, with its turn-of-the-century stylings (you can't go wrong with biplanes!) and a protagonist who doesn't get riled up at the drop of a hat. Refreshing! Of course, since this is Bandai, I'm bracing for some savage price point, but if it's financially feasible, I'd love to add Turn-A to my collection - which would give me a chance to re-watch it. Also: great, underrated Yoko Kanno soundtrack!

Tales of the Abyss is one of my absolute favorite games of the decade, but because I like the game so much, I probably wouldn't pick up the anime - after all, when the time comes that I feel like returning to it, I've got Grade Shop points to spend like nobody's business.
