Is Sega already hard at work on a sequel to Valkria Chronicles 2, despite the fact that game has yet to release in America? We don't know for sure, but Sega recently registered the valkyria3.jp domain, and seeing as though the previous games use the valkyria.jp and valkyria2.jp domains respectively, we can only assume the same will hold true for the next entry into the series. What's more, there's a chance that the series will be making a return to the PS3.

Previous comments by series producer Shuntaro Tanaka, state that he would like to see the series developed for both the PSP and PS3, and while this isn't by any means a confirmation -- we're still not even sure Valkria Chronicles 3 is happening, and they could be registering the site just in case -- I've got a feeling we won't be disappointed. It's only a week until Valkyria Chronicles 2 hits the shelves stateside. Are any of you as excited as I am?

I'm pretty damn excited I pre-ordered my copy and I can't wait till the 31st!! :3

If I had a PSP i'd be all over 2. So I guess I'll have to violently wait for the 3rd one to come out on ps3... hopefully.

Can't wait for Valkyria Chronicles 2! Got it pre-ordered and paid off. If they're making a 3rd one that's fine by me.

Valkyria Chronicles 1 is one of my personal favorite games. I am heavily anticipating VC2. VC3, back on the PS3, can only make things better.

Haven't played the first game, but I violently want to.
I think I'll play VC2 first, anyway...

I loved the original. I loved the anime.

But until it comes back to the PS3 I WILL HATE IT. Death to VC 2 and the crappy PSP. DEATH.

I would love to see a third title in the series. I'd hope they made it more open ended though. Was I the only one disappointed in the fact that I could recruit so many people, but in the end they had almost no affect on the story outside of the single paragraph excerpts at the end?

I will rage if it's not on PS3, since I'm not shelling out for a PSP

Liking RPGs and refusing to buy a PSP this gen is like liking RPGs and refusing to buy a PS2 last gen. Get out of your own butt, haters.

I don't think so since many PSP RPGs are just remakes.

I also refuse to see the PS VC2 as the valid succesor.

We aren't cash-cows. The second game was just brought to the PSP to sell units. And I wont contribute in this milking.

I am exited for 3 on PS3 though.
