Senran Kagura gets new PR group, lots of details emerge
Yesterday's press conference from Marvelous Entertainment brought much news to light on the upcoming 3DS bouncy ninja game Senran Kagura. The first is of the formation of a PR group made of five girls, who each represent a character from the game. The group is called G-Feed, a name composed of five letters which correspond to the girls' cup sizes. Game wise, there will be over 180 costumes that you can use to dress up the various characters, and you can also give their outfits custom colors. Surprising noone, their clothes will disintegrate as they take damage, revealing swimwear underneath. Using a special ninja finishing move will reportedly reveal something "intense." [via andriasang and famitsu] Furthermore, there are several tie-in products announced. Maybe the most interesting is the energy drink with reported aphrodisiac effects, though I can't be sure if those are from the drink or the images of anime ladies on the bottle. If anyone wants to choke down a bottle and report your findings, we're all ears at the japanator tipline. Three promotional comics will be appearing in Monthly Comic Arize, Monthly Comic Rex, and online at Famitsu Comic. A CD will be produced featuring the opening and ending theme, the former of which will also be available as a ring tone. G-feed will also be subject to the Sexy Action Contest, where fans can vote on what sexy activities they want to see the group perform. The results are being hosted on a dedicated page on DMM.com, and there also seems to be a special DMM outfit in the game. Lastly, character cutouts will be appearing in game shops across Akihabara.
