Sentai Filmworks licenses Queen's Blade Rebellion

3:00 PM on 04.17.2012 // Bob Muir

In a move sure to please fans of T&A, Sentai Filmworks has announced that they have acquired the license for Queen's Blade Rebellion, the latest in a line of smutty fantasy anime based on gamebooks. This goes against rumors that Media Blasters would license and dub the series, as they had done with the first two series, Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin and Queen's Blade: The Evil Eye.

The new series follows Annelotte in her quest to overthrow Claudette, the current ruler of the land. Also, there are now pirates, which make everything better. I could go into more detail, but really, who watches this for the plot? That's like reading Playboy for the articles.

Queen's Blade Rebellion should release on DVD later this year, but if you need your sexy girl fix now, you can catch new episodes on Crunchyroll.
