Shippers rejoice: Naruto x Sakura confirmed by Uniqlo

Shippers rejoice: Naruto x Sakura confirmed by Uniqlo photo

Yeah, you heard me. So-called "NaruSaku" shippers have been given more ammunition for their war against the NaruHina and SasuSaku heathens by Uniqlo, the clothing store.

How did this happen, you ask? Early buyers of a Naruto t-shirt were rewarded with a special OVA music video that, besides showing off the show's new ED theme (Aqua Timez's "Mayonaka no Orchestra") teased content yet to be seen in the manga, including some frames of a tearful pink-haired girl crouching over an injured kid with whisker-things on his cheeks as a some with a weird eye looks on. Miraculous rebirths and gentle tear-wiping commence.

Oh, and seemingly affirming the potentially canonical status of this disgusting juvenile romance, there are also shots of Madara and Kabuto, each in their manga-current outfits, both of which have yet to be animated in either TV series or movie form.

Hah! What am I saying?! This proves nothing! Sakura was always a crybaby. Kiss or it won't happen! Then again, there are never any kisses in fight manga targeting Naruto's demo. Fight on shippers. The battle will likely live on long after the manga is over.

Check out the video below. Even if you're not an aspiring fan fiction luminary, it's at least well-animated.

How is this news? I run our weekly Fighting Friday column, that's how. You can tune in on Friday for the latest in One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, and Fairy Tail fighting action.

You are now free to barf, if you have not already.

I always flip back and forth between Sakura and Hinata. It really makes me feel douchey for even caring. I really can't help myself though.
and here we have one reason i gave up on Naruto and most Shonen in general: THERE IS ALWAYS A ROMANCE SUBPLOT THAT MOVES AT 0.001 METERS A YEAR. untill the end, when they get married and have 2. 4 children.

still... always had a soft spot for NaruxHina.
The problem is they'll barely ever address it again.

Remember when Hinata admitted to Naruto she loved him? NEVER ADDRESSED AGAIN.

If there is a romance, it'll be hinted at, never shown, then someone will end up together or pregnant so you know they hooked up at some point, but they'll never show how.
thats not the problem WERE GONNA HAVE A EXPLOSION OF FANGIRLISM and da's gonna go all X.X the saske fangirls are gonna go rabid and the hina ones are gonna go emo and *hids under a rock*
Naruto only cares about his ORANGE stealth clothing that prevents him from being detected in tree that have GREEN leaves.
that reminds me, i gotta catch up to the manga.
it was actually enjoyable =0
you know, when it comes to the romances in shounen stuff, I usually look for the fanbased things. Otherwise, nothing happens. ><
I support NaruHina
I'm pretty neutral in the who loves who debate for Naruto, but I feel like what that clip shows is less "I LURVS YOU NARUTO" and more "MY FRIEND ALMOST/WAS DIED." Don't forget, theyve been through a ton together, and I doubt that Sakura wants to lose another friend. Example: people may cry when their friends die. Does that mean they are all in relationship love? No, not really.
Did the Anime just spoil the Manga? That is win

NaruSaku has my support. I'm a sucker for Tsundere.
I wish Nayludo would just fuck Saucegay already.
I will be a NaruHina shipper until there's canon, manga evidence telling me otherwise. The manga epilogue either shows them married or Naruto and Hinata got together as far as I'm concerned.
Oh please all I saw was more SasuNaru than anything...
Sorry, hetero-shippers, but my favourite pairing has been ahead of all other pairings since episode one, where if need be there is a kiss to prove it :D
Hinata all the way! If there isn't anything else to say otherwise, in my mind it's always going to be Naruto X Hinata.
By that logic it also confirms the KakashixNaruto pairing.
I gotta say that was a pretty darn cool video.
Can't wait till the anime catches up to the manga!
Seeing Kabuto and Madara in their current outfit was quite cool.

Oh and as for the whole shipping debate:
Naruto/Hinata all the way baby!
I mean she really likes him and even confessed to him.
What's wrong with him!?
Guess he likes the abusive type... ;P
no offense, but this is probably referring to sakura's fake confession that naruto immediately sees for the bullcrap that it is.
As I had said somewhere else: I rather see both Naruto or Sasuke or both die. I've never seen a possibility of a NaruSaku, NaruHina (aside from Shikamaru x Temari and Asuma x Kurenai I've never seen a plausible het pairing in the series).

That aside, the video made me teary eyed. I'm sucker for those types of flashback scenes.
Ugh! No dang it! Through the whole manga she has pushed the poof fox boy and with a hanging tongue went after Sasuke. She pushed Naruto to get him then was angry when he returned near dead. Dang pink haired monkey should be flipped off and dumped in the nearest puddle!
Naru/Hina is a cute and good mix, however Naruto needs someone with a more fiery outlook to make it fun.. Hina is sweet but bleh.. Just Say no to Sakura!
NO NO NO Sasuke belongs with naruto...wtf is going on
