Sneaky ol' FUNimation secretly drops that they've licensed Baccano!
by Brad Rice, 07/21/2008

I know everyone's been clamoring for this title to get licensed for at least a year, and now FUNimation has finally done it. Over on their FUNimation update video, they dropped the license announcement, along with the news that it's now streaming on FUNimation's website. If you head on over to the Baccano! page, the first episode is streamed in a sub-only format, but you need the password to get in. Well, Gia pointed out that it's "Flying Pussyfoot" -- now you don't need to sit through the video update.

I've been excited for the series, just like the rest of you. I haven't gotten to watch it, finally catching up with most of my anime only recently, and so the 1930s setting, along with all the different storylines, had me tempted to just go ahead and buy the light novels. Now, though, the series will be coming (hopefully) soon. I'd expect to hear a lot more about this at Otakon.
