There's a point to this whole community blogs thing we've got going on. We want to hear what's going on in your mind, above and beyond what you talk about in the comments. And, if you're talking about anything particularly interesting, or just have something really cool to say or show us, we'll put that on the front page.
Now, the Japanator community blogs are a bit of a Wild West right now, and so I'd just like to take a moment and point out the comprehensive guide that our brothers over at Destructoid have written. Replace "videogames" with "anime" where appropriate. It's a bit of a welcoming guide, but also reminds you about appropriate behavior.
What sort of things do we want to see? Well, roody's Zetsubou project is an amazing creative project, but we realize that not all of you are skilled artists. So this is a chance to put your writing skills to work and write about some of the hot topics of the day, or something that's just been on your mind. In order to help you along, we'll be having monthly topics to try and bring about responses. It's like a fun little writing circle!
So, if you've got any thoughts on some of the hot topics like the Japanese election, how Endless Eight screwed you over or a local con that you've visited. We'll be watching for your stories. The only points I can give right now are to watch your spelling/grammar, give reasons for your points when making an argument, and tell it straight from the heart. If you can do that, then you'll go far.
Go ahead and get your feet wet. I know a lot of you write really well when it comes to the comments, and I'd love to see you take a shot at writing some posts, too.
Also, thanks for promoting my project up, too!
