Some cool reasons to give McDonald's your lovin'
So you're walking through Shinjuku and you start to feel a little hungry. It happens, there is no need to feel embarrassed about it! What's that? You don't fancy something you can only eat in Japan tonight? No problem, McDonald's has got your back! From May 18th, you'll be able to pop in and grab a happy meal (known as a happy set over there) and receive a Gundam Try-Age card as your 'toy'. These can be used in the arcade game, which allows you to fight in different missions with three different gundams and pilots. It's a pretty cool game, and one that I've personally amassed a fairly big collection for! If someone is in the area, pick me up a set please! If Gundam isn't your cup of tea, hold off a few more weeks til May 31st, where you can download an exclusive monster for use in Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D. You'll be able to pick up a Slanin Purple that week, followed by a Lumia starting June 9th. It looks like you won't have to purchase anything either, but why not chomp on a Big Mac while you download some new monster partners? McDonald's in Japan certainly knows how to pull in their customers! I'll be honest, I'd eat anything on their menu for something Gundam, just don't tell them I said that.
