Idols are one thing (that I love), but Japanese television is filled with beautiful faces. The talent, or as they say it, tarento, is something I never grow tired of looking at. And seeing as how I watch as much Japanese television as I do anime, I've gotten to know many of the faces. Naturally, I have my favorites.

I pulled together a gallery of some of the most lovely actresses on Japanese television today. It's amazing how some of these ladies can make a pretty bad TV show work. I've been known to continue watching a dud because one of these fine actresses are in it. Most of the actresses pictured here are also fantastic at their craft. I've seen stunning performances by many of them over the years. Those giving JTV a bad wrap probably haven't seen any of these ladies act.
