Something to get you in the mood for K-ON!!

2:00 PM on 03.26.2010

We're hotly awaiting K-ON!!, the second season of the greatest show of the last decade, and I think it's high time we start celebrating its imminent arrival by watching some inspired videos. Sadly, we'll have to say goodbye to "Fuwa Fuwa Time" and "Don't Say Lazy," but at least there are new songs on the way.

I must admit, as much as I enjoyed K-ON!, I don't think it's a show I could ever watch a second time. I mean, the show is pretty damn vapid, and a plot is non-existent. The whole enjoyment of the show, I suppose, was getting attached to the characters and then watching their adventures unfold. The moe was the glue that held it all together.

I'll watch this second season, because there's some odd compulsion within me to watch it. I suppose it's the show's indirect fanservice of appealing to whatever Ritsu sparks within my cold, dark heart. I'm not really sure why I'll be watching it, but I will.

So follow me after the jump to say goodbye to the first season of the show, and be prepared for the greatness that will be K-ON!!

[Thanks, Dan]

The thumbnails of the videos explain a lot.
The Hitler one made my day, the sex one wrapped it up in a nice bow. Now when I think of Nazis, I will think of K-On.
Glorious! Now if you'll excuse me I have some fappin to do....
I'm reasonably certain the K-ON theme has reached the same point as the Benny Hill theme i.e. you can set it against practically any footage and it will be hilarious.
Fuwafuwa Time was played too much, despite it being I guess their popular song. They should've at least performed Curry Nochi Rice for more than 10 seconds though.
Hitler you will be miss T_T
>This video may not be suitable for minors.
hahahahah wow.
Tying Nazis with K-On clever.
Thank you for that second video, Brad. I needed it.
HEIL MUGI, PRIDE OF THE THOUSAND YEAR REICH
That was absolutely incredible. I mean wow. I'm still laughing.
Note to self - accidentally clicking bottom video while 5.1 system is set to full blast with window open = Very, very awkward.
I get it now. Setting anything at all to K-On instantly renders the concept ridiculous and laughable.

Aki Toyosaki's Hey Jude cover is fun, even to hate on

I was figuratively crawling in my skin when I listened through Aki Toyosaki's cover of "Hey Jude," now on Youtube. It's not so much a murdering of a classic Beatles piece as much as hearing your average anime seiyuu pinching ...
