Sony + Miku = 3,939 Walkmans

Sony + Miku = 3,939 Walkmans photo

The lovely Hatsune Miku has graced many things. Now she can put Sony's Walkman to her impressive resume. Coming out in middle of this month to commemorate her fifth birthday. These exclusive Walkmans will have Miku's image etched into the back of the unit. Also the units will come pre-installed with the song "Hoshi no Kakare" and a special wallpaper. No word on how big the storage will be.

There are only going to be 3,939 units made and are all numbered. Which is always a plus because of the collectability of them. I know that I am sucker for stuff like that. If there is a special addition or limited number, then my interest will peak even more.

You can get these at Sony's online store for around 12,800 yen ($163) or you can splurge and get the teal one with external speakers for 15,800 ($201).

Miku's Domino's tie-in made more legit by a foreigner
