Spend all day making internationally adored video games while making more money than anyone else in the country. Sounds like the perfect job to me. According to Tokyo Shoko Research, Square Enix employees are the best-paid staff in Japan. On average, each employee makes 17.9 million yen a year (that's $209,000 in dollars). And these employees are relatively young to be making so much money, with an average age of just 41.2. Personally, if I worked at Square Enix I wouldn't mind being paid in G, gil, or even XP. And I'm sure for employees who love the video games they help to produce, the fat paycheck is just icing on the cake. [Thank you, Ko!]
