Steins;Gate and its romcom spinoff heading to the Vita
At this point, what system hasn't the original Steins;Gate been ported to? Currently available on the Xbox 360, PC, PS3, PSP, and iOS, it's not the least bit surprising that 5pb's super popular visual novel is hitting yet another console. The Vita is next in line for a port, hitting Japanese store shelves on March 14 of next year. The romantic comedy spinoff, Hiyoku Renri no Darling, will also be going on sale for the Vita on the very same day, making for a double dose of Steins;Gate goodness. The original game will run you 7,140 Yen, with the spinoff title costing a meaty 6,090 Yen. As much as I love this franchise, there are far cheaper alternatives than this. Of course, it never hurts to get an excellent title like this into as many hands as possible. Personally? I'll be passing this one and eagerly anticipating the eventual flood of Robotics;Notes ports.
