If you're into live-action porn parodies of anime, hopefully you thought to grab Layers;Gate before now. TMA, the adult video producer behind such titles as K-ONBU! and The Melancholy of Hahiru Suzumiya, has announced that they will be discontinuing distribution of their erotic version of Steins;Gate. The move follows after legal action from -- who else? -- the original game's developer, MAGES.
TMA issued a statement apologizing to MAGES and other related producers of Steins;Gate apologizing for creating trouble and forcing them to act. It's pretty much all they can do, considering how blatant TMA's porn parodies are. But even though I don't watch them, I think it's kind of awesome that they exist, so hopefully other companies are more accepting or at least oblivious of these videos.
