This is relatively old news by now, but it'll quite relevant come next week. On October 28th, anyone who's been wondering where their pen/stapler/cutter/protractor/ruler/scissors went can find out, as studio SHAFT will be streaming several unaired episodes of Bakemonogatari.
The episodes, namely the last three parts of "Tsubasa Cat," went unaired due to problems with the broadcasting schedules, though rumors suggest that SHAFT simply didn't finish them on time. Instead, they will be made available on the website, which is currently showing a brief preview video.
I don't know much about Bakemonogatari, except that it has a mysteriously lightweight girl toting an Office Depot's worth of school supplies in her skirt, involves the casual treatment of ghost stories and urban myths, and looks really, really pretty. So pretty that its initial sales topped K-On!'s debut by several thousand units.
I hope it gets licensed for an English Blu-ray release, ideally with those last three eps on-disk.
