Super Robot Wars Z Saisei Hen ad features classic singer
Super Robot Wars trailers can be predictable, trotting out every character and mecha to do their special attack. That's why I like this new trailer for 2nd Super Robot Wars Z Saisei Hen (Regeneration Chapter). You know what Super Robot Wars looks like, so why not do something silly with it instead? So rather than show tons of SD mecha and people shouting attacks, the ad shows singer Ichiro Mizuki using the "Seishin Command" system from the games as he goes on stage. For those not in the know, Ichiro Mizuki performed the opening theme songs to lots of classic anime and tokusatsu series, and has also been part of the music group JAM Project. 2nd Super Robot Wars Z Saisei Hen is due out on April 5, 2012 for PSP.
