Superhero Time 5-8-12I hope you all had a great Cinco de Mayo weekend, because things are about to take a turn for the worse. Good thing we can count on a team of super spies, after school clubs, and delusional otakus to ensure that our days are not outnumbered by anyone that threatens our lives. Let's endure some pain as we rush into this week's adventure of Superhero Time.
Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Episode 11
Didn't you get the memo, Go-Busters! You should all know that it is practically impossible to defeat Airman. I am aware that you are all in need of Item Two so that you can get pass Heatman's stage, but you guys are not cut out for that yet. I take it back, there is a bit of hope for you guys after all. At least you don't have to worry about getting killed by landing on a teeny little spike. Good thing you guys have extra help, because Airman would have torn you up with his barrage of miniature tornadoes. I am actually content with Enter's new scheme for this week, since he is beginning to realize the weaknesses behind each Go-Buster. This proves that the Vaglass are not a group of mindless villains that throw around weekly monsters for the sake of accomplishing their ultimate goal. Normally this sort of craftiness would be saved for later episodes, but Go-Busters is throwing them down early on. If Ryuji had it hard during this week's battle, then I can't wait to see how Hiromu will act when Enter discovers the truth behind his pathetic excuse of a weakness.
Kamen Rider Fourze Episode 34
Today's episode of Kamen Rider Fourze is brought to you by the letter "T." And what does the "T" stand for? Congratulations, you are correct! The letter "T" stands for twist. If you thought that things were going to take a turn for the worse for Kengo during the episode preview of 34, then you will be in for a surprise on how the subject was touched upon. Things are advancing to the next phase for Gamou's plan, and the fate of a certain Horoscope opens up for more trouble. I think that one of the highlights was the continuation of Gentaro's yandere problem, which came to a nice resolution with the help of Yuki. The moment of truth that we have been waiting for is ready to launch, and now we just have to play the waiting game and see where it lands. I think we are also getting close to witnessing the secrets behind Gamou's abilities, which will be a nice treat when we see him enter the battlefield.
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Episode 4
I feel bad for those that are not familiar with Super Sentai, because episode four of Akibaranger was filled with so much gratuitous fan service that it made me squeal out of pure excitement. While there were a few references that were not covered during this service, it was still amusing to see Nobuo's sexy/cute fantasies in action. Seeing Yumeria cosplay as Mele from Gekiranger made my day, since she manage to get into character -- she is one devoted cosplayer. One of the best parts is that she kind of resembles Yuka Hirata, which added more to the fan service. Putting aside my unnecessary squealing, episode four is probably one of the weaker episodes of Akibaranger for anyone that did not get the references early on. However, the timing behind the ending was a great way to add a bit humor after the ordeal that Nobuo and Yumeria had to go through. We cannot forget about the follow up on last week's cliffhanger, which was a great way to mess with the viewers. Did you know?
