Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Episode 19
For a second I thought that Go-Busters was going to waste our time with an unnecessary episode dedicated to Nick, but Enter does return from his one episode hiatus. Come to think of it, could it have been someone else that was involved with the creation of last week's Metaroid? Who knows! Before I get off track, Enter decides to go after one of the Go-Buster's most valuable allies. Perhaps one of today's highlights was seen the series of comedic sequences with Nick trying to figure out his main specialty as a Buddyroid -- even though the Buddyroids are used to activate the Buster Vehicles. Despite the focus on Nick, Go-Busters continues to show off more of Jin and J's abilities during battle, which resulted in more heavy firepower and the original three showing off a new move. While I don't mind the introduction to the new abilities and what not, I think that it is about time that we go back to the main battle. Perhaps another intense episode will be what the series could use, since we need to see the newly formed team face a dead end. If anything, we might get something like that when we hit the halfway point of the series.
Kamen Rider Fourze Episode 41
One by one, everyone is facing an intense situation at gunpoint, except that the gunpoint involves subspace manipulation. Gamou's men are done playing around, and the Kamen Rider Club is now facing a huge crisis. I am embarrassed to say this again, but this episode hurt me inside again. By hurting me inside, I am referring to the endurance that I had to put up with as I was forced to witness certain situations unfold. It is very saddening, since I was always routing for the Kamen Rider Club's development throughout the whole series. Though Tachibana helping Gentaro with his training was rather amusing, especially with the fact behind who is voicing him. If last week's twist wasn't a huge reveal for you, then you won't believe the one that sneaks up behind you this week. Taking into account how the whole thing was set up, there has to be some reasoning behind the objectives that were accomplished by this whole ordeal. Otherwise, the main cast could have been wiped out earlier on in the series. As much as I want a good resolution for next week, we are most likely going to dive into more of the set up that will take us into the next phase of the final countdown.
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Episode 12
Well, I guess we have discovered the identity of the great evil that has been manipulating the series. Becuase of his great power, Akibaranger is going to go through its final episode. However, Nobuo's knowledge of Super Sentai finale tropes will come in handy towards preventing their adventures from coming to an end. Episode 12 may be filled with climatic sequence upon climatic sequences, but this is by far the last episode of the series. Though it was priceless seeing all the moments that involved the team breaking the fourth wall and setting up certain scenarios through minor screw ups. Whether Akibaranger is done for or not will depend on next week's outcome (In regards to any chances of a new season in the future.). Even if Nobuo, Mitsuki, and Yumeria's journey reaches its end, their hard work will live on in the hearts of otakus that believe in what they love. Did you know?
