Take cover, Gungrave: Overdose shoots its way into PSNAs a fan of Yasuhiro Nightow's (Trigun's original creator) style, it's good to see that Gungrave: Overdose is arriving on PSN this week for North America. While it is easy to find the game for a cheap price in online retail places, PS3 owners that lack a PS2 or PS3 that can play PS2 games will now have the chance to take control of Beyond the Grave as he shoots his enemies in stylish maneuvers. Not only does he shoot down evil, he also wields a giant coffin that contains an arsenal of destructive weapons. Did I mention that he is an enhanced super zombie known as a deadman? While Overdose's graphics are inferior to the first Gungrave game, the improvement in gameplay make up for it in the long run. If you are not satisfied with Grave's firepower, then you can also play as the dual gun katana wielding blind samurai deadman known as Juji Kabane or the lightning wielding ghost rocker known as Rocketbilly Redcadillac. Just by those description, you know you are getting into something over the top when you face mobsters, people turned into mutated abominations by a super drug, machines of all shapes and sizes, and other deadmen as it follows the formula of a beat em' up game. While they have yet to mention Overdose's price, I am going to assume that it will be US $9.99, which is a good deal for the carnage that you will get to unleash. And last but not least, you get a button that lets you do a flashy explosive pose. [via Siliconera] Did you know?
