Taste the zombie apocalypse with Yakuza of the End liquor

Be it the presence of Young Magazine on virtual convenience store racks, the offerings of C.C. Lemon (and its 70-lemon power) among the in-game healing items, the Yakuza franchise is the video game king of obnoxiously lovable product placement.

Latest in the franchise's escapades is another collaboration with distillery Seifuku Shuzo to create a special liquor for Yakuza of the End, the PlayStation 3-bound zombie-apocalypse spinoff. This installment's tie-up is some fun Awamori, a traditional Okinawan drink, coming in an exotic bright yellow color and tasting of Shikuwasa, a unique citrus fruit native to Okinawa. It should be mentioned that Yakuza protagonist and living stone wall Kazuma Kiryu started running an orphanage in Okinawa at the start of Yakuza 3. Connection? Yep.
