Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom headed to North America after all? photo

The Capcom and anime crossover is finally making it's way to North America after being held up due to licensing--at least according to GoNintendo it is. In a post this afternoon, the site claimed to have been sent a screenshot from next months issue of Nintendo Power with a full featured article supposedly confirming what we had all hoped for--as last we heard, it was only getting released in Japan. So far, there's no news on when the title will be released, but I can only hope it's sooner rather than later.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tatsunoko Productions, they're responsible for a number of classics such as Speed Racer and Gatchaman, and have worked with a number of major studios including Gainax. The fighting game features a number of characters from their stable alongside characters from the Capcom universe. There had also been rumors floating about regarding the potential for a Marvel vs Capcom 3 using the engine from this game. While I doubt that'll happen anytime soon, it's interesting enough to note that Marvel has been working with Tatsunoko on a joint television venture. So... Marvel vs. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, anyone?
