Tekken's anime is unintentionally hilarious

"Why are you so upset? Is it because your father threw you off a cliff?"

"Tomorrow I'm killing my father."

"I know the rabbit wasn't happy to get eaten."

These are some choice quotes from a Tekken anime YouTube video assembled by theswitcher. These and plenty more gems are within the over 10 minutes of video here. It's funny that this drops in the same week that Tekken 6 did.

Tekken's backstory and characters are borderline insane anyway, but giving it the bad anime treatment takes it over the top. Heihachi eating an axe out of mid air is something that I've always wanted to see. I just didn't know that until now.

I know it's stupid, but I have a real soft spot for a lot of the Tekken characters. The anime was awful, but I would watch a new anime about characters like Jun, Jin, Lei, Xiayou, Youshimitsu, etc.

Eating an axe out of mid-air is solid proof that an anime is awesome.

Sure, Street Fighter - The Movie had Raul Julia, but did it also have robots that can hack a computer with laser eyes, dinosaurs equipped with thermal campo, and a boxing kangaroo?
