Conventions are a weird sort of culture. By some accounts, you have 44,000 people gathering together to celebrate Japanese animation under the blazing LA sun, while in other places gatherings barely top 500, but the people there are all close friends.

Whatever the environment, conventions are an experience for all of us, and touch us all in profoundly different ways. Perhaps you've put yourself up on the auction block at a convention's bishi auction, only to find love from it later? Or how about forming the bonds of friendship that have yet to break? Of course, you could just tell us about discovering this totally awesome anime called Gundam.
