Back in December, Kentarou Miura decided to take his incredibly bloody manga Berserk on hiatus. Rumors have been circulating that the man put the manga on hiatus so that he could play Idolmasteron a newly purchased Xbox 360. Well, four months have passed, which just so happens to be the same amount of time it takes to beat that game. So perhaps the rumors are true, which is pretty sad and epic at the same time. Who can honestly say they wouldn’t do the same thing? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Berserk will return toYoung Animal in the next issue on April 24. Hopefully during this hiatus he was also thinking about a way to end it, because it really needs an ending soon. Here, I’ll help you out!

Yeah, 4 months is about right... especially with how F***ING HARD IT IS TO GET THE D*** ACHIEVEMENTS... I mean seriously, I had to play through 4 times just to get that stupid "S-rank with two or more idols at final performance" one...
That said, the games really are addictive as hell so I don't blame him for putting Berserk on hiatus even though I've enjoyed the manga. Unfortunately Bandai-Namco knows this so that's why they charge 1200MS points to download ONE new song for Live for You... (and I'm dumb enough to pay it)
they could still introduce them. be like hey, heres some characters that werent in the old season. i would have no problem if they started a new berserk post-eclipse
I think I remember reading Miura saying he wanted Berserk to be around for a long time and wanting to go for the record of the longest running manga ever. I'd like that because the storyline seems to be around the midpoint atm.
