The king of heroes to be playable in Fate/Extra CCC

You know, it's been a while since we kept tabs on the new installment of the Fate/Extra series. Last time we heard from it was when we were told about the lovely figure that comes in the Virgin White Box for Fate/Extra CCC.

We are aware that all the playable servants from the first game are going to make a comeback, but there is one more hero who desires that the game demands a true king to join its ranks. The Gate of Babylon has been opened, Gilgamesh will be a playable servant in the next Fate/Extra game.

With Gilgamesh joining in the fray, it is going to be amusing to hear his egotistical segments about being the greatest among kings. I guess it will be interesting to see how Gilgamesh will perform on the side of a good person, since he has only been a servant to people with ulterior and dark motives in the past. Knowing how Gilgamesh's social skills are, it is going to be entertaining to see him talk down on all the other servants that he encounters in the game.

In unfortunate news, Fate/Extra CCC got delayed from a spring release to a winter release, so it's going to be a while before anyone gets to play the next installment in the alternate Holy Grail War. But hey, that might also mean that we might get other playable servants in the future -- I am crossing my fingers for Alexander.
