Is it cool to admit I watched Liar Game because Shota Matsuda is hot? No? Well, I did. I also watched it because the original Shinobu Kaitani manga is excellent (unfortunately not licensed yet) and Erika Toda is consistently awesome in everything she does. I wasn't disappointed, and when I heard a second season AND a film were on the way, I was pretty worked up about it.

Tokyograph confirmed today that the second season will air in November, with all major members of the cast returning. It will center around the players facing off in four games and a semifinal round, and the full length film will show off the final game. It'll be out on February 2010 and will be called " LIAR GAME: The Final Stage". I wonder if the second season will be able to keep the tension and pace of the first -- I'm hoping to enjoy it as much as I did before!
