Anime Boston has just recently announced that Japanese rock stars The Pillows will be taking the stage at the event this year. Along with MC Frontalot and tokyo pinsalocks, the addition of The Pillows makes this one of the year's must-not-miss events.

Most of you know The Pillows from their almost exclusive inclusion in the soundtrack to the groundbreaking anime series FLCL. In fact The Pillows have been together for almost twenty years now, and continue to make some of the most solid rock albums you could ask for. Their newest album Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up! was released on the huge Avex label, so you can be sure that this isn't the last we'll hear from the band. Make sure to check out Japanator Radio to hear the newest single "Tokyo Bambi."
