Well, you know I get worked up every time a new season of drama is on the way -- there's so much to look forward to! Oricon asked people which ones they were looking most forward to this Fall, and it was no surprise to me to see Liar Game 2 riding high on that list -- in addition to being a good show, it features the rather scrumptious pairing of Erika Toda and my soon-to-be husband, Matsuda Shota.

Other highly anticipated shows included Tokyo Dogs, which is apparently so awesome it's making the male cast  members fall in love with each other, Fumo Chitai, Aibou Season 8 and Otomen: Fall.  I've heard nothing but disappointing things about Otomen, so I haven't watched any of that one, but a few the others I'm interested in made it to the later part of the top ten, including My Girl with Arashi's Aiba Masaki and Samurai High School with the drool-worthy Miura Haruma.

Frankly, I'm excited -- it looks like the best season in a while. If you're thinking about getting into j-drama, now's a good time. Which ones are you looking forward to?

10 – "Ohitorisama" (TBS) – Starring: Mizuki Alisa

Damn, of your links, Otomen seemed like the only one that I would be interested in. Shame to hear it's getting poor reviews. :( I might check it out for the heck of it.

I'll probably check out Tokyo Dogs too. The article the other day I found funny. Since Mizushima Hiro has been in just about every drama I've watched (Meichan, HanaKimi, ZettaiKareshi), I'm developing an uncomfortable man-love for him too. When I saw your article the other day, I didn't recognize Oguri Shun from the pic. But I just looked him up and realized he's the other guys that's in everything (HanaKimi, HanaYori)? That guy rules too! What the heck are these dramas doing to me!?!?!

Oh, and for the record, I'm HEAVILY into Zettai Kareshi now. Just one more episode and the special to watch, and I'll be good on that one. I can officially thank you all and this site for getting me into the dramas. I'm in and I'm thinking it's for the duration. I'm even neglecting some of my anime watching for this stuff! I need to reorganize... :D

Well, I only ever got into Nodame Cantabile. House still gives me more kicks for live action programs (did I just call a drama series a live action series? When is House the anime coming out?)

@u_nick - It makes me day to find out these articles helped someone else fall in love with drama. I'm so glad to hear that!The cool thing about Hiro is that not only is he super hot, but he's a wonderful actor. So is Shun, which is why I'm really hopeful for Tokyo Dogs. :D

looking forward to tokyo dogs love buddy cop dramas... oguri shun hasnt let me down yet in his dramas so high expectations for TD... man makes me wish my bud didnt get married and get chained up... need a new wing man, might have to get oguri if his up for the job that is...
