The Trigun movie will probably destroy your town

Once it's released in 2010, at any rate. It seems that the long-rumored film has finally received its website, though exactly why they're pumping life back into the property with this is beyond my ken. But hey, Trigun was pretty cool, so I'm hardly one to complain. Not only did he have one sweet gun, but three. And nice shades. And a red coat.

In any case, the movie will star Vash, Milly, Meryl and Wolfwood as they go about saving a city from the catastrophes that tend to happen whenever Vash comes around.

The announcement brings back memories, especially from when the 1998 Trigun anime was relatively new, its fandom fresh. Man, you couldn't swing a dead cat on the internet without smacking someone whose handle was some variation of "Vash the Stampede."
