The wheel of fate continues: BlazBlue Continuum Shift announced

And just when I was starting to get good at the original! As to be expected, the sequel/update to BlazBlue has just been announced in the October issue of Famitsu, where we'll be getting a lot of goodies. The big one is that the game will see two new playable characters: Tsubaki Yayoi is one of them, who you might remember from the story mode, while the other character has yet to be announced.

Of course, we'll be seeing character rebalancing for those who sorely need it (*coughJincough*) as well as each character getting an additional move. New stages, changes to old ones, and even a new HUD display will surely make this a worthwhile buy. Oh, and Rachel finally gets a new distortion drive. That's a really nice change.

There'll be a loketest (whatever that is) in Akihabara this upcoming weekend for those who are going to give it a shot. I'm guessing they're doing these updates via DLC now, instead of releasing disc after disc of rebalancing? That'll be nice, I must admit.

Check out the scans down below, provided by the nice people over at the DustLoop forums.
