The world’s cutest car, Nissan’s Pino

The world’s cutest car, Nissan’s Pino photo

From the offset, this might not look like the world’s cutest car, but that is where you come in; and when I say ‘you’, I mean the Japanese school girl inside of you. Because you see, Pino’s cuteness can be customized with a multitude of kawaii objects; like colorful seat covers, or CD wallets that look like hamburgers. These objects are first dragged and dropped onto the car over at www.pinoshop.jp before the car is actually purchased; akin to customizing a character in any MMORPG.

But best of all this car can be purchased for a measly 8,000 dollars. According to the October 2007 issue of Wired, 5,500 Pinos were ordered in the first month; doubling Nissan’s expectations. Despite its awesomeness, this car will not come to America because 90% of its populace can not fit into it.
