Well, my rage isn't directed specifically at the videos, which are awesome commercials for Macross-themed pachinko machines, but at Topless Robot, whose asserts that the Robotech adaptation of the Macross story is superior and that Macross 7 and Frontier suck. 

His/their opinions are different from mine, and as such must be wrong.

They just don't get it. Hell I read all the Robotech novels, and the first time I saw Macross, I instantly knew which was best. Seriously, The Protoculture is not some mystical robo-fuel!  It is a superdimensional civilization whose pop songs destroy giant armies! There are no Invid or Robotech Masters! It is a superdimentional civilization!

How could one possibly prefer Harmony Gold's abomination in the face of what's after the jump?!
