This new E.X. Troopers gameplay vid is pure eye candy
Capcom's upcoming Lost Planet spin off, E.X. Troopers, confuses me. It's a bright, colorful and anime/manga-esque take on what was originally a very serious survival horror concept. Making matters even more strange is the fact that the game is currently scheduled to release for the Nintendo 3DS and the PS3. What? Despite all the weirdness surrounding the game, E.X. Troopers is looking like tons of fun. The fast paced, third person shooting style reminds me of Mega Man Legends (single tear), and I'm a big fan of the aesthetic. The promise of some kind of coop also has me eagerly anticipating more details. Some new images have surfaced as well as a brief video clip of the gameplay. No confirmation yet as to which version the video is from, but either way it looks great. Check out the pics in the gallery and the video after the break!
