Those extra chapters of Inuyasha are getting animated

While traveling down for Otakon, I happened to miss this bit: The Inuyasha anime cast is getting back together in order to animate the last two volumes of the Inuyasha manga, bringing the anime to a definitive closing.

Now that the manga is done, this will bring a close to the series more than those OVAs did, I can only assume. In fact, I'm not really even sure what was contained on those. As much as the collective 18+ crowd here on the Internet might hate Inuyasha, for many it was an introduction into anime, and I bet some of you watched it while it was running on Adult Swim.

So, when these episodes, however many there may be, make it to Adult Swim, will you find yourself staying up and just "happening" to watch them? You can admit it here, we're all friends.
