Sorry about the delay, last week we had the battle of the sexes, per se. Big swords vs. big breasts, which would you rather have in an anime? The people have spoken, though this was not a happy pleasant speak. Choosing between the nectar of life and the steak of death is not something done with a simple passing thought alone; this takes great contemplation. Most of you would rather have big swords rather than big breast. That’s good, because that means there is a lot more for me then.

We have an interesting debate for this edition of Otaku Debate. Let’s say that you were somehow abandoned on a desert island somewhere in the Pacific. No one is looking for you, and there are enough raw materials to sustain you for the rest of your life. Sounds fun? Well, let’s just say that you have to bring one person with you, but this is not your average person of course.
You have to pick one of the six Azumanga Daioh girls to join you on this adventure. Which one will help you waste away those long hours by the beach, or fix you up a nice meal of assorted island fruit? Or perhaps which one will help you escape, or motivate you to do so? Most of you don’t really care about that though, and just want to pick the girl you always wanted to secretly “hug”. In case you forgot, here are your choices:
Chiyo Mihama: Chiyo’s a genius, so she might be able to help you escape. Or you could just use her twin ponytails to fly away to freedom. Also Pedobear.
Tomo Takino: This energetic firebrand will definitely keep you entertained, but probably won’t help you escape.
Koyomi “Yomi” Mizuhara: Is the voice of reason of the group. She would definitely help organize your new life here.
Sakaki: The most athletic of the group. Those who voted for big breast above will probably want to pick her. Though I don’t think she would want to leave this animal-saturated paradise.
Ayumu “Osaka” Kasuga: The laziest of the group. Would probably die, or cause you to die due to her absentmindedness. Despite that she is still really cute!
Kagura: The second most athletic of the group. She is a great swimmer, which might help you escape. Also, her dark skin will help fight off skin cancer which is always a threat to those in this part of the world.

Or Sakaki. Probably Yomi, though. If I got stuck with Tomo, I'd murder her by the end of the first day and use her skull to help me with Lost quotes. :D
