To Love-Ru gets spin-off manga this October photo

After an ending to the original manga that left pretty much nothing resolved and an anime adaptation with another season on the way, manga-ka Kentaro Yabuki will be launching a new spin-off of his manga To Love-Ru. The original was a harem-esque comedy in which a boy, having trouble confessing his love to the girl of his dreams, suddenly has to deal with a beautiful alien girl who appeared out of nowhere.

The announcement came from Shueisha's Jump Square magazine, which will be serializing the new manga starting on October 4. There's no word on whether this will be a continuation of the original, which stopped abruptly due to marital issues, or a new story with the same characters. Still, sounds like it's going to be more of the same romantic comedy antics that people enjoyed the first time around.

Legacy Comments

Well now they need to bring the anime to the US. 1st season of the anime was pretty fun, I'd certainly pick up the manga. The series is quite adept at delivery a multitude of pretty female love interests and fan service.
@gricomet They DID bring the anime to America. http://bit.ly/zLRNu
@Rikar oops, meant to say bring over the manga. I already the US release of season 1.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! Praise Haruhi!
I dont know about you guys. but im getting sick of the spambots.

More To love-ru you say? I am ok with this.
Spambots should be getting dealt with when the network updates soon, so please bear with us a bit longer!
I just finished watching the first season last week, ans was a bit non-plussed about the non-ending (if I wanted Tenchi Muyo's ambiguity, I'd watch Tenchi Muyo).

Ay any rate, looks like we'll see more Golden Darkness in the spin-off, which is fine as they didn't utilize her as well as they could have.
