Tokitowa finally gets a Japanese release dateRemember Imageepoch's previously announced HD PS3 animation RPG, Tokitowa? Remember how we've yet to actually see a substantial gameplay trailer since the game was first announced? Yeah, that game. It looks like we're closing in pretty quickly on the recently unveiled release date for the game; it's due to hit store shelves on October 11. That seems remarkably close for a game we know so little about. Hopefully Imageepoch steps up their PR in the coming months. Fortunately, we have a few new details thanks to this week's Famitsu. There will be a special edition of the game as is standard with all Japanese releases. Two new characters were introduced as well. The first is Makimono (Aya Endo), a fortune teller that saw into the future and predicted the main character's wedding ceremony falling to pieces. The 2nd character is Bikodo, the leader of of an assassin's guild. He's voiced by the always amazing Tomokazu Sugita, which leaves me wishing that he was the main protagonist instead. Tomokazu Sugita makes everything better. Fingers crossed that this turns out to be more than just eye candy. I'm still waiting for Imageepoch to hit a grand slam. [via Andriasang] Did you know?
