I have such a girl-crush on Maki Horikita. She's literally so cute I can hardly stand it (plus she was in the first j-drama I ever watched, so I've had a soft spot for her ever since). I was thrilled to hear she's working on a new project alongside Arashi's Sho Sakurai, which is an adaption of the comedy manga Tokujō Kabachi!! Kabachitare! 2, which has been running on Kodansha's Weekly Morning magazine since 1999.

The drama is slated to start in January of next year and will be airing on TBS on Sundays at the 9 PM time slot. ANN reports that the original Kabachitare!  drama adaption from 2001 averaged nice ratings (19.3%), so this seems like one worth looking forward to. Plus, it has Maki!
