For a j-drama fan, there's only one thing that's better than a drama with one of your favorite actors or actresses in it -- a drama with TWO of them. Come this October, I'll be able to enjoy just that with the debut of a brand new show called Tokyo Dogs~Worst and Best Partners~ coming to Fuji TV this October and starring Oguri Shun, Mizushima Hiro and Yoshitaka Yuriko. Kawaii Joyuu reports that this show will air in the hot 9 PM time slot.

This original police drama will put Oguri  Shun in the role of a elite NYPD cop with a military past with Mizushima as his partner. The two men are sent to Japan to work on a case involving large scale drug dealers. The lovely young Yoshitaka Yuriko will also play a key figure in the case, although her role has not been revealed yet. The show seems as if it will focus strongly on the partnership between Oguri and Mizushima's characters.

Sounds intriguing to say the least, and I admit I'm maxed out enough on school dramas to try something new. I feel a possible Dramataku subject coming on ...
